01 · What we make

Four services. One studio.

End-to-end additive manufacturing — from a napkin sketch to a finished part in your hand.

02 · The technology

What is 3D printing, really?

3D printing — or additive manufacturing — builds physical objects one thin layer at a time, fusing material from the bottom up. Where traditional manufacturing subtracts material from a block, additive simply adds only what's needed.

The result: complex geometry that injection-moulding can't reach, customisation at no extra tooling cost, and turnaround in hours instead of weeks.

PHASE 01

Model

Design in CAD, scan from a real object, or download an existing file.

PHASE 02

Slice

Software cuts the model into thousands of horizontal cross-sections.

PHASE 03

Print

The machine builds the object layer-by-layer, fusing material as it goes.

PHASE 04

Finish

Supports removed, surfaces sanded, painted or sealed where required.

04 · Frequently asked

Common questions.

Q1What file formats do you accept?

We work with STL, OBJ, STEP, 3MF, F3D and most native CAD exports. Don't have a file? We'll model it for you — even from a hand-drawn sketch or a photograph.

Q2How long does a typical print take?

A small part (fits in your palm) prints in 1–4 hours. A medium part takes 6–14 hours. Multi-colour or detailed parts can run overnight. Most jobs ship within 2–5 business days of approval.

Q3How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on material, volume, print time and finishing. Most one-off parts fall between R150 – R1,500. Use our quote calculator for a same-day estimate.

Q4Can you print food-safe or outdoor parts?

Yes. PETG and ASA are food-contact safe (with food-safe coating) and UV-stable for outdoor use. We'll always recommend the right material for your application.

Q5Do you ship outside Pretoria?

Yes — nationwide courier (1–3 business days) via Pep Paxi, The Courier Guy and PostNet. Collections welcome at our Suiderberg studio.

Q6Can I get a sample first?

Absolutely. We routinely print a small test piece (one corner, a single feature) before committing to a full production batch. Sample prints are quoted separately at-cost.
